We could not do what we do without our amazing Trinity community & volunteers! Aside from the ongoing volunteer roles listed below, we have numerous opportunities throughout the year to assist with school & community events, fundraisers & more. To Become a Tier 2 Volunteer:
- Print and complete the Confidentiality Agreement.
- Bring your completed application and driver's license to Trinity's front office.
- Sign up to volunteer for any Tier 2 activity!
To Become a Tier 3 Volunteer:
- Complete the Tier 2 Volunteer steps above.
- Schedule and complete a Volunteer Background Check (wcs.edu).
- Trinity will receive notification of your background approval 1-2 weeks after your fingerprint scan. Call Alice Chiavetta at the school office, 615-472-4850, 1-2 weeks after your fingerprint scan to confirm you've been approved.
- Sign up to volunteer for any Tier 3 activity, including class field trips!
- Visit the school on one of our badge-making days to receive your Tier 3 Volunteer Badge. The school will create your badge onsite and you can take it home that day. The process is easy and quick.
* Once TES confirms receipt of your background approval, you can immediately partake in Tier 3 Volunteer Opportunities.
Tier 3 Volunteer Expiration:
- Tier 3 status expires after 5 years.
- Upon expiration, volunteers must process a new background check within one year.
- To confirm your current volunteer expiration date, call Alice Chiavetta at 615-472-4850.
Lunchroom Volunteers: Tier 3 volunteers are needed to help in the lunchroom. Volunteers will walk around the lunchroom removing trash, monitoring behavior, and assisting students as needed. **Please note you must be a Tier 3 volunteer to assist in the Lunchroom (For more information on how to become a Tier 3 volunteer, please go to https://www.wcs.edu/domain/1207)**
Room Parent Volunteers: Room parents will communicate to classroom parents and help organize class celebrations/activities throughout the year. Room Parents are also required to help at Romp & Stomp or another PTO event during the year. We would love to have three room parents per class. **Please note Room Parents MUST be PTO Members and Tier 3 Volunteers!
Workroom Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help with workroom activities. Cutting, sorting, laminating, and other projects for teachers and staff. Workroom volunteers must be Tier 2 volunteers.
